What Comes Next?

I want to talk
But it doesn't work
The words trapped in my throat
The sentiments locked in my fingers
Frozen
Unbreakable silence
Is it fear?
Perhaps anxiety
Inferiority.
Why?
I don't get it,
What comes next?
Unseen, as well as unheard
Lost to the depths
Of invisibleness
Forgotten and enraged
By the idiocy
The uncertainty
Of human emotion
And perception.
It's all one breath after the next
One foot after the other
Day followed by night
An endless circle or rhythm
So why must speech
A voice
An expression
Of one word after another,
So hard?
