A MeetingA young man in his mid twenties approached an abandoned conservatory. He gingerly opened its old wooden door. He was greeted with dust and darkness. His steps were careful as he neared the light switch. With a flip the lights flickered on. As he suspected, many of the bulbs were dead, but just enough were not. He could now see rogue music stands, sheets of music across the floor, random instruments scattered about, and an old grand piano. He surveyed the room as he approached the piano. There was a small window in a far upper corner, a smooth oak floor, and a large remnant of a broken mirror decorated half of a nearby wall.

Announcement 1) After many upon many months I'm finally deciding to have a contest! Basically you can either:
1. photograph something/someone that portrays or illustrates something I've written, poem or prose
2. turn a piece of my writing into a drawing, painting, or photoshop piece etc.
3. write something, an adaptation of one of my poems or a fanfiction for one of my stories
The prizes are currently undecided, if you have any suggestions feel free to suggest! Deadline is... Let's say February 28th? To submit them post your entry on DA and send me a link in a note. Judging will be done by myself, and one or two of my close friends who know art and my writing well. You are allowed to tell your friends or who ever you think may be interested. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask

Announcement 2) My boyfriend, who is beyond sweet to me, told me he loves me! AH! Jeeze, that boy makes me so happy. Issue though, I don't love him back. Not yet anyway... then again it has only been 3 weeks, give me some time.
